Japanese dragon tattoo and dragon tattoo design art is not all convey the same meaning. Dragon is part of the myths of various cultures and in every culture that has set the unique characteristics and dragon tattoo meanings. Tattoos are about personal expression and therefore the meaning of the tattoo was actually received by the person wearing the tattoo. There are no hard and fast rule that a tattoo is always one thing. Conversely every tattoo designs and tattoo will mean something unique and different with a tattoo bearer. This Japanese dragon tattoo also has a very sad look on his face like it had just been defeated in battle or something. I believe this is the Japanese dragon tattoos are symbols of luck and wisdom.
